Smart Water Tech Conference report
As a part of co-curricular activity, 6th semester students (10 students) of civil Department participated in “Smart Water Tech Conference” conducted by Indian Technology Congress Association at Sir. M. V. Auditorium, FKCCI, Bengaluru under the guidance of Dr. Mahesha N. The prime objective of this conference was to understand “Futuristic Farmer-led Irrigation: Pressurized Pipe Network and Automation Technologies for Enhanced water use efficiency”.
A Hands- on training Program on Advanced Surveying Instruments was organized for the faculties of department of civil engineering from 16.07.2019 to 17.07.2019. It was a hands-on experience for them to get trained in working of DGPS (Differential GPS), Total Station- windows version and Hand GPS.
